Privacy notice

Last updated: October 15, 2026

1. Who is responsible

Cortes y Soluciones, located at Guillermo Prieto, Carey esq-2, Pueblo Nuevo, 23097 La Paz, B.C.S., is responsible for the processing of your personal data under the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares).

2. What data we collect

When you request a quote through the form: your name, your phone number or email, the type of job, material, thickness and quantity, the message you write and the file or drawing you attach (optional). We also receive what you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email, such as your number and your messages.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data (health, ethnic origin, beliefs, etc.). Please do not include it in your messages or files.

When you send the form, the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam service receives your IP address and browser data to check that you are a person. We do not store your IP address with your request.

3. What we use your data for

We use your data to: (a) answer your request and prepare your quote; (b) follow up by WhatsApp, phone or email; and (c) keep our internal record of quotes and jobs.

All of these purposes are necessary to serve you; there are no purposes that require your additional consent.

We do not use your data for advertising or promotions. If we ever did, we would ask for your consent first.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties for their own use. We use providers that process it on our behalf, only to deliver the service to us: Airtable (quote records), Cloudflare (website, temporary file storage, anti-spam and email) and email and messaging services (Google and WhatsApp). Some operate outside Mexico, mainly in the United States.

We would only disclose your data to someone else if a law requires it or if you authorize it.

5. Cookies and third-party services

This website does not set its own cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tools. Some pages show a Google Maps map and the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile; those services may receive your IP address and browser data and are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as it is needed to handle your quote and keep our record of jobs. When it is no longer needed, we delete or block it as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, cancel it or object to its processing (ARCO rights). You can also limit the use of your data or withdraw your consent at any time, with no retroactive effect.

To exercise them, write to [email protected] (Personal data contact) and include: your name and a way to reply to you; a document proving your identity (or your representative’s); a clear description of the data and of the right you want to exercise; and anything that helps us locate it.

We reply within 20 business days at most and, if it applies, carry it out within the following 15 business days; both periods may be extended once, by an equal period, for justified reasons. Exercising your rights is free of charge; only reproduction, copying or shipping costs may be charged. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can go to the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the authority for personal data protection in Mexico.

8. Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date. If the purpose for which we use your data changes, we will ask for your consent again.
